We have decided to do a Mob version of the Sia song “Cheap Thrills”! You’re probably wondering why not do a cover of Thin Lizzy’s Thunder & Lightening, Whitesnake’s “Cryin in the Rain” or Motorhead’s “Death or Glory”? In this day and age when you don’t have a juggernaut of a label or serious cash to pay to get on the major radio rotation this is the game you have to play. Even though this is a top 40 dance jam it’s still a great song and we have the fun of making it our own. It’s not enough just to do a recording of it though, we’re doing a music video also. This is another means of getting the Midnight mob name out there to bigger audiences and to make our brand more known utilizing some cross promo.
