Sing Me A Story MP3
We mentioned in an earlier post that we were doing recording a song based on a kids story. Well it happened and it went down gloriously. Violet, an 8 yr old, girl was our co writing partner on this one. The song is entitled Violet’s Summer and it is now live for you all to listen too. You can listen for free and/or donate some money to her cause, which allows you to download the song. We had so much doing this song & we would love for you all to share it.
Breaking & Entering Milwaukee
Blackey sat down with Breaking & Entering and did an awesome interview at Summerfest!
“B&E: How would you describe Midnight Mob’s sound to someone that’s never heard of the band?
Deathproof: If you placed rock’n roll in a blender with 70’s punk, rockabilly, the oldies, a spoon full of blues and gospel, than crumbled bits of concrete and fruit roll ups on top you get Midnight Mob.”

New Music Confab, South Carolina
We’re excited to announce that we have been added to the New Music Confab in Charleston, SC! We haven’t been given our official show date but the conference takes place between 8/25 & 8/27. When we have more info we’ll post it!
Sing Me a Story Foundation
We have been given the honor of playing Summefest in WI this year! We can’t wait. Just when we thought things were sweet enough things got even better. A foundation called Sing Me a Story reached out to us and asked if we would to transform a child’s story into a song. The foundation has a recording studio set up in a trailer at Summerfest & we go in and record live. These stories come children whom fell on hard times and have a need to express themselves creatively in order heal & feel better.
