Don’t Ask Homeless Kids Questions
I haven’t blogged in a while. I want to do this more often because it’s actually kind of entertaining for myself, but at the same time I don’t want to be forced to blog because it might not be so entertaining for anyone, not even for the person not reading this. I’m shooting for once a month or when the mood strikes! Since it’s been months since my last blog, this will be considered when the mood strikes. I have been word struck & now I will blog hard.
I’ve been all over the place recently and have come across a slew of wise ass kids on the younger side. At first you’re like what a jerk kid, but then you laugh because what the kid did was hilarious and then you can’t stop laughing to yourself because you realize you were totally that wise ass kid growing up. Being older now you view & understand these kids comments & the magnitude of what is actually coming out of their mouths. Why would you stop getting your parents all amped up, it’s so funny. Angry moms in the mall yelling at their kids is amazing. It’s almost as if the kid is so aware that he’s putting on a show for you.
Today this one kid really brought it home for me. I parked in my apartment lot and walked to the front door. As soon as I got to the door a pack of kids said hi & had that up to no good thing going on. The girl said this lady was creeping them out because she was asking where they live and what they were doing. I asked them what they told her. The girl said nothing but the boy said, “I said we were homeless”. This was so funny because as soon as he said that I started saying you should tell her that you eat garbage with the cats. The boy and I locked eyes & that’s when memories rushed back on how much of a wise ass I was to my parents at like 6/7 years old. I used to love changing the channel on my dad from another room, it never got old or egging my dad on getting him frustrated, then saying “what are you going to do about it”.
I’m sure there are plenty of you out there that can relate to this. My dad’s the best & this weekend he will be my best man. Only the best could have raised me & deal with all my antics. Remember that time when you all thought I was dead, but I was just sleeping in a bathroom without any clothes on, yeh I was that kid. Happy Father’s Day!

We’re starting to get the hang of this mailing list. So far we’ve used Reverbnation, Fanbridge, Benchmark, Get Response & now Mailchimp. We have a very good feeling about this furry spunky mailman. Honest Brutal Glorious UK Release (Pre Order)
For those of you who are new to the Midnight Mob family might not know that we have an amazing friend & supporter across the pond in the UK by the name of Stu Taylor. Stu Taylor runs a UK label called STP Records. A few years back Stu hit us up after discovering us on the internet & was super passionate about getting us some press and fans over in his area. We compiled the first two ep’s into one and called it “These Days”. We created different artwork for it, STP printed them up, sold them through their site & got us in front of so much great press. When we did our pledgemusic campaign last year we had a large number of supporters from the UK & it’s totally because of STP.
After a few delays on our end we finally got the artwork over to STP for the UK release of Honest Brutal Glorious. STP just told us it will be a fall release, so make sure you stay tuned. If you want you can pre order it now here!
